Sustainability
Each year more than 100 million tons of asphalt pavement is reused or recycled into new pavement, making it America’s most recycled material. Asphalt pavements are comprised of approximately 95% aggregates (stone, sand, gravel) and 5% asphalt cement (the binder holding together the aggregates). When asphalt pavement is going through the recycling process the old asphalt cement is rejuvenated as well as the aggregates.
Our History
Started in 1996 by our founder Keith Harrison, USS has become a staple in the Asphalt maintenance field. From City Creek, Snugs USA, to Adobe; USS has worked with some of the area’s biggest Contractors and Largest names in the western states. Veteran owned and operated, ownership has expanded to include Keith and Jacob and their decades of experience.
Our Leadership
James
Project Manager
James earned his degree in business management at Utah Valley University. He was quick to learn the meaning of hard work growing up on a family farm. James is an eagle scout; trains for and runs ultra marathons, and loves reading. When he’s not on the clock, you can find him spending time with his wife & fishing with his kids.
Keith
Founder
Keith is an Army Veteran and former Commissioned Officer. He has his degree background in Business Administration and has started and developed several businesses through the years. He began striping parking lots in 1996 and found a love for the parking lot restoration process. Keith enjoys to playing softball, golfing, and the company of his large family.
