Each year more than 100 million tons of asphalt pavement is reused or recycled into new pavement, making it America’s most recycled material. Asphalt pavements are comprised of approximately 95% aggregates (stone, sand, gravel) and 5% asphalt cement (the binder holding together the aggregates). When asphalt pavement is going through the recycling process the old asphalt cement is rejuvenated as well as the aggregates.
Our History
Started in 1996 by Keith Harrison, and transitioned to Jeff Rickords and Eric Beins in 2025, USS has been a staple in the asphalt maintenance field for 30 years. USS has worked with some of the area’s biggest contractors and largest names in the western states. Our focus is on quality work and amazing customer service – all at a fair price.

Easton B.
Project Manager
Easton and his wife live in Provo and both attend Utah Valley University. He enjoys fishing, camping, and playing sports with his friends in league play. He helps make sure our jobs are on time, on budget and communicated well.

Crewman is responsible for assisting the foreman and performing job labor.
Easton C. “EC”
Sales Lead
EC lives in Riverton and goes to school at Utah Valley University. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He has been doing sales for a few years and loves working with customers to help them make their asphalt look new again.
Wes
Lead Foreman
Wes lives in Springville, UT with his wife and dogs. He has worked in asphalt and striping for over 15 years. When not working he enjoys the outdoors and improving his firearm skills.
Jeff
CFO/Sales & Finance
Jeff lives in Springville, UT with his wife and kids. He has worked with construction and manufacturing companies for several years and wanted to jump into asphalt and did when he purchased USS from Keith in 2025.
Eric
CEO/Sales & Operations
Eric has lived in Utah for 30 years after growing up in the Hill Country in Texas. He lives with his wife and kids in Riverton, UT. He grew up doing framing carpentry and helping on his brother’s farm in the summers. His career has been in software industry for small businesses, including construction. He joined USS in 2026 as a partner with Jeff.
